Hydrological Analysis and Modeling focuses on the precise measurement and rational interpretation of hydrometeorological factors to understand the mechanisms and probabilistic behavior of hydrological phenomena. It aims to develop quantitative methods for predicting the magnitude or likelihood of events such as floods. The study involves forecasting flood discharges based on long-term flow records or rainfall data and applying various hydrological modeling approaches to establish rainfall–runoff relationships, particularly for predictive purposes or for use in ungauged basins.
